An in-depth look at literacy programs for adults in custody in Oregon prisons, profiling the inmates enrolled and analyzing the impact of these programs in reducing recidivism and creating opportunities upon release. The project will also examine  K-12 literacy programs to investigate crime prevention efforts by way of education.
