Cathleen Kenny

Cathleen Kenny has served as vice president for finance and administration at Pratt Institute, an art, architecture, and design institution in Brooklyn, since 2015. She oversees the Institute’s financial and administrative operations including human resources, student financial services, legal affairs, the physical plant and risk management.

Before joining Pratt, Kenny served as vice president for finance and administration at Mount Saint Mary College and vice president for fiscal affairs at Dominican University. Earlier in her career, she held financial leadership positions at the Anderson Center for Autism and Mount Saint Mary College and began her career as an auditor with KPMG. Kenny holds a master’s degree in public administration from Marist College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pace University.

She is a certified public accountant in New York State and serves as a peer evaluator and financial reviewer for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Her other volunteer service includes serving on the boards of Disability Rights New York and the CRV/Adapt of the Hudson Valley Foundation.
