Caren Rodriguez

Caren Rodriguez, an award-winning public school communications leader, serves as Chief Communications Officer for Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD.

For the past 12 years, Rodriguez has taken on several public school district communications roles in North Texas, serving in Dallas ISD and Garland ISD before joining the Carrollton-Farmers Branch community. Her experience has allowed her to execute and lead media relations, crisis communications, digital communications, video production, marketing and events, and community engagement efforts. She has successfully led initiatives to generate millions of dollars in earned media, drive impactful campaigns, navigate complex crises and effectively communicate with diverse communities.

Rodriguez holds a Master’s in Communication Studies from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of North Texas. She is determined to continue elevating public school communication efforts and strengthening engagement and trust with all stakeholders.
