Partnership helps districts address persistent staffing shortages and ensure students receive critical services
LEHI, Utah and GIRARD, Kan. – [June 25, 2026]– eLuma, a leading provider of behavioral health and special education services for K-12 schools, has partnered with Greenbush, one of Kansas’ largest educational service agencies, to help school districts expand access to the specialized support services students need.
Through the partnership, Greenbush will offer eLuma as a preferred solution for its participating districts, providing access to a comprehensive range of school-based services, including speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, school psychology, school counseling, licensed clinical social work (LCSW) services, and certified special education instruction.
The partnership comes at a critical time for Kansas schools. According to Education Next, the state has reported special education staffing shortages every year for more than two decades. At the same time, the number of students receiving special education services continues to grow, increasing pressure on districts already struggling to recruit and retain qualified professionals.
“School leaders are navigating increasing student needs while facing ongoing workforce challenges,” said Jeremy Glauser, CEO of eLuma. “By partnering with Greenbush, we can help Kansas districts access experienced special education and behavioral health professionals more quickly and efficiently, ensuring students receive the support they need while strengthening the capacity of existing school teams.”
Unlike traditional staffing solutions, eLuma provides districts with access to a broad network of specialized providers who work closely with school personnel to deliver integrated student support. In addition to direct services, districts can leverage professional development, MTSS consulting, and caregiver engagement resources designed to strengthen school-wide support systems.
“Strong partnerships allow schools to focus on what matters most—student success,” said Tina Smith, Chief Business Solutions Officer at Greenbush. “We are pleased to partner with eLuma to provide districts with additional resources and support as they work to meet growing student and staffing needs.”
The partnership also streamlines access to services for Greenbush participating districts by leveraging the cooperative’s trusted network and established relationships across the state.
Nationally, nearly two-thirds of public schools report shortages in special education personnel, creating challenges for schools attempting to meet legally required service obligations and maintain continuity of support for students with disabilities. By combining Greenbush’s regional leadership with eLuma’s more than 15 years of experience supporting schools, the organizations aim to help districts close service gaps and improve access to care for students statewide.
