Three-Day Event in D.C. Tackles Burnout, Bias, and Career Equity
(West Palm Beach, FL — June 30, 2025) – District Administration presents Leadhership Network for Women, a convening for women in education leadership, equity advocates, and executive coaches this fall for a bold new event designed to tackle some of K–12 education’s most urgent challenges: career advancement, mental well-being, career planning for women in leadership roles and sustaining impact in leadership.
The Leadhership Network for Women, to be held September 24 – 26, 2025, in Washington, DC, is not a typical conference. It’s an experience built by and for women to grow, connect, and lead with purpose. Over three days, attendees will dive into issues that matter most, such as career advancement, mental well-being, navigating bias, and sustaining impact in leadership.
At the heart of the event is the Leadhership development framework for women, which centers on six pillars:
Sessions are aligned with the six pillars and designed to offer practical tools, develop new skills, and provide opportunities for candid conversations to support women navigating leadership challenges while building confidence and advancing their careers.
“Women in educational leadership are essential to the future of learning. Leadhership gives us space to grow, connect, and lead boldly—without apology. It’s more than a gathering; it’s a catalyst for elevating the women driving real change in our schools,” Amy Dujon, VP of Education, Community EDU.
Leadhership 2025 features an impressive line-up of distinguished speakers and education through leaders, including:
The complete line-up is available online. As part of the event, the organization is organizing its first Advocacy Day in partnership with the Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (ALAS). Participation in Advocacy Day is open to Superintendents and Cabinet members in the K12 education space. Register now for the event to receive your invitation to Advocacy Day.
