About the Board of Directors
Board members are expected to help establish and advance the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
They are responsible for helping recruit and orient new board members, and for hiring and evaluating the executive director.
Directors’ duties also include establishing and overseeing long-range planning, resources, and policies for the organization.
